Data Protection Policy

What data do we hold

The only personal information we hold is your contact information (name, address, contact number, email address)

Where is this kept

All the above information is kept either in the booking diary, on our pitch spreadsheet (surname only), or if an enquiry has been sent by email it is kept in a password protected email account that is used for the CL business only.

How long is this kept for

The information kept in the booking diary is kept for 6 years for tax purposes, all other information kept either on the spreadsheet or via email is deleted the following month after your stay.

What we use your data for

We only use your data for our own personal use ie in case we have to cancel your booking for an unforeseen circumstance/bad weather etc. We will never pass on your information to any third party or use it for any marketing purpose.

Who has access to my data

The owners of Mere Oaks CL and anybody looking after the site in our absence. The Data Controller for Mere Oaks CL is Dinah Elkington.

Can I have access to my personal data

If you would like to view how we hold your personal data please feel free to ask during your stay.

Consent to hold your data

Upon making your booking it is given that you agree to us holding your contact details up to and for a month after your stay on the pitch spreadsheet and email and for up to 6 years in the booking diary.

Data Breach

If for any reason a breach of data occurs the persons whose data may have been compromised will be contacted and informed just what information has been compromised.
